This program can be taken as a 2-day workshop for personal interest or
continuing education or
​as a Hand Reflexology Certification (with prerequisites).

Hand Reflexology Program Details

​Workshop option
There is no pre-requisite and no exam.
The 2 day workshop gives you in-class instruction, a detailed manual and practical sessions.
You will gain skills and the confidence to practice hand reflexology on yourself and others.
You will receive a Certificate of Completion.
 The workshop adds to your skill set only and does not certify you as a Reflexologist.
Eligible for continuing education credits.
The Hand Reflexology Certification option
Therapeutic Reflexology Institute presently only offers a Hand Reflexology Certification to Certified Reflexologists.
​ Registering for the Certification option automatically registers you for the 2-day workshop.
The requirements for certification include:
  • Certified Reflexologist
      The in-class component includes:
  •  Attend the 2-day Hand Reflexology Workshop, where you receive the in-class training, detailed manual and supervised practical training sessions.
  •   Practical exam 
        The home study component includes:
  • Complete an assignment to evaluate your skills, and submit electronically
  • Online theory quiz
  • Complete unsupervised practicum sessions
You will receive a Certification, transcript, and a Therapeutic Reflexology Institute Hand Chart. 
Also eligible for Continuing Education Credits.

 ​​What to expect at the workshop
In the Hand Reflexology program you will gain an understanding of the hand from a physical and metaphysical perspective and how to use this insight and Reflexology to facilitate well-being.
​The program includes:
  • Fundamentals such as benefits, contraindications, standards of practice & scope of practice.
  • Hand Anatomy and the role it plays in Reflex mapping
  • Common hand pathologies and hand assessment observations and their role in therapy protocols.
  • Skills in mapping the Reflex areas of the hand
  • Practical training includes finger techniques, stabilizing techniques and an in-depth study of the hand Reflex therapy sequence. ​
