Does the Applied Reflexology Workshop enable me to practice as a Reflexologist?
Reflexology is a certified modality; therefore a massage therapist would not be practicing as a certified Reflexologist or make claim to be a reflexologist after completion of this workshop.
The Applied Reflexology for Massage Therapy workshop integrates Reflexology theory and techniques specific to working the muscular system. The therapist is equipped with a specialized tool to facilitate a more effective outcome-based service.
Suggestion :If you are interested in Reflexology beyond a workshop level, you can consider MyoSkeletal Reflexology certification. This certification is designed for the Massage Therapist. If you are uncertain whether a certification in Reflexology is the correct step in your career, consider the Applied Reflexology for Massage Therapy first, as the workshop can be used as a credit in the certification.
Do I need to be a Reflexologist to participate in the workshops offered?
It is not essential to have Reflexology training but a general knowledge of the Meridians and general anatomy is a help.
More specifically: The Applied Reflexology covers basic Reflexology and techniques adapted for Massage Therapy, no prior knowledge of Reflexology is needed.
The Neural Reflexology Workshop is advanced Reflexology, so is most beneficial for certified Reflexologists.
The facial Diagnosis Workshop was developed for Reflexologists but can be applied to any natural therapy modality; no prior knowledge of Reflexology is needed. The workshops are adapted to be incorporated into other modalities. You can contact me to advise you on which workshop would best work for your modality.
